It’s Day THIRTEEN of the one exercise a day challenge. Today’s featured exercise is the: PUSHUP ROTATION. “Another pushup!?!?” you may be saying… Well, hear me out. This pushup in particular is a variety that blends chest and arm work with abdominal engagement AND mobility of your shoulders and spine. With so many benefits, I couldn’t leave it out! Find out how to do this exercise in today’s training video, then complete your recommended workout.
HOW TO COMPLETE THE WORKOUT
Complete 10-15 pushup rotations on each side. That’s a total of 20-30 repetitions.
HOW TO MODIFY
If going down into the pushup isn’t feeling right today, skip the pushup and do just the rotation. You’ll be working almost all of the same muscles! Once you build up more arm and shoulder strength, you can circle back to the version with the pushup.
MAKE IT MORE CHALLENGING
Complete 5 rounds of 10 pushup rotations, for a total of 50. If you’re super ambitious today, I think 5 rounds of 20 should give you a nice burn and street cred for completing 100 reps 💪🤩
