It’s Day FIFTEEN of the one exercise a day challenge. Your exercise for today is: SUMO SQUATS. The sumo doesn’t get enough credit. I think it’s an essential exercise for working your inner thighs and for gaining mobility in your hips! Watch today’s training video to learn how to do it! Then complete your workout as recommended below.
HOW TO COMPLETE THE WORKOUT
Today’s workout is simple. Complete 50 to 100 sumo squats. That’s it! The first few may feel easy, but trust me… they will add up. Place your hand on a wall or the back of a couch, if you need some support. You’re welcome to take as many breaks as you need in between reps.
MAKE IT MORE CHALLENGING
Tack on an element of balance with this addition. At the bottom of each squat, lift your heel off the ground for half a second. Then replace your heels before you stand up. This is a great way to build strength in your calves and flexibility in your ankles!
PS – Don’t forget to head over to the Facebook Group when you’re done and share your experience! I’ll see you over there!
