Itโs Day 51 of the One Exercise a Day Challenge and today’s exercise is a calisthenics champion. It’s the: TOE TAP. This cardio move is top notch among athletes of all levels (from rec to professional) because it is a great way to improve your footwork, increase your speed, and get your heartrate up. Watch today’s training video, then complete your workout!
HOW TO COMPLETE THE WORKOUT
Time yourself for 45 to 60 seconds. Once you’ve completed your first round, take a break and do it again from 3 to 5 times.
MODIFY THIS MOVE
A simple way to modify your toe taps is to march instead of hopping. This is especially important if some area of your body feels pain while completing your workout. In my opinion, pain free is the way to be ๐๐๐๐
MAKE IT MORE CHALLENGING
If you’re an athlete or simply looking to kick it up a notch, perform your toe taps while moving. Here are 3 ways I like to try:
- Moving forward and back
- Moving side to side
- Turning in a Circle
PS – Don’t forget to head over to the Facebook Group when you’re done and share your experience! I’ll see you over there!
