It’s Day 79 of the one exercise a day challenge and honestly…. we’re on a roll with core moves this week. Today’s is the: PLANK WALKOUT. I’ve never met a shoulder stabilizer I didn’t love. The plank walkout is no exception. This move is tailored to strengthen your abs without flexion AND help you develop stronger shoulders with a better range of motion. Watch the video to see how it’s done!
HOW TO COMPLETE THE WORKOUT
Set a timer for 30-45 seconds. Complete as many walkouts as you can during that time. Once your time is up, take a break, then repeat the interval at least 3 more times.
MODIFY THIS MOVE
As I mentioned in the video, feel free to place your knees on the floor to complete this move. You’ll notice that you don’t have to walk your hands too far out in order to feel your abs engage. So if it’s your first time, make tiny movements and avoid going too far out.
