Hi all! It’s Day 94 of the one exercise a day challenge and today we’re getting into a mobility move with the: HINGE TWIST. The lower back is a common problem area for most people, especially as they get older, which means that we have to vigilant about engaging the muscles around our hips and torso. This move does just that. It’s a great stretch AND it will help you improve your balance.
HOW TO COMPLETE THE WORKOUT
I recommend you start with the kneeling version. Complete 15 repetitions on each side. If this feels like the right level, repeat this another 2-3 times.
MAKE IT MORE CHALLENGING
If the first round felt a bit too easy, it’s time to progress. Complete 3 more rounds of the standing version demonstrated in the video.
